We kinda just sat around waiting for… nothing

Last week was boring… AGAIN! Basically all that happened was

Friday we got an inflation report (PCE), that showed prices went up 2.6%. As expected. Which is a good thing but it made for a very uneventful week.

Key Fed measure shows inflation rose 2.6% in May from a year ago, as expected

The core personal consumption expenditures price index was expected to increase 0.1% in May and 2.6% from a year ago.

So, markets did nothing too special, mortgage rates moved very little. Instead let’s keep it short and simple. Instead of watching what would have certainly been a similarly boring video, check out what I learned about Poltergeist houses on the coast in North Carolina 👇
