  3. And jobs aren’t what they seem.

  4. So we aren’t feeling great, but this could just be the beginning

Ok, let’s get to it! And for the video this week, let’s stay positive and talk about inflation. But keep a close eye on the rest going forward…

 The Mortgage Part 

📉 Inflation is down!: The inflation rate dropped to 3% last month, it’s the first time we’ve actually seen a DECREASE in prices since the start of the pandemic. Rates celebrated, but should we?

📈 But not for everyone: Producer inflation actually went up, meaning the cost of making goods increased faster than before, giving worry to increased consumer prices coming.

👷‍♂️ Jobs are worse than they seem: The jobs report has been consistently off the mark in the positive the last year. We’re strong still, but not like the headlines show

😬 And we might just be getting started: Data shows that on average it takes 10 quarters from the first rate hike for a recession to start… we’re in Q10

% Mortgage Rates: Despite the negative outliers, mortgage rates dropped to their lowest level in 5 months, celebrating inflation’s drop.
